Your house is going to smell SO GOOD when you make this gluten free pecan pie! This recipe definitely falls into our 80/20 rule which majorly comes into play during the holidays. We would never want you to miss out on the joy that come comes with baking, bringing a dish to a party and of course eating PIE!

Grain Free Crust: (you can also purchase a ready made gluten- free pie crust)
2 cups blanched almond flour
1/2 tsp pink salt
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon grass-fed butter
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp maple syrup
Instructions
Place almond flour and salt in food processor and pulse briefly
Add coconut oil, butter and egg and pulse until mixture forms a ball
Press dough into a 9-inch pie dish. Bake at 350° for 8-12 minutes
Filling:
1 cup pecans
3 pastured eggs
1/3 cup grass fed butter
1/3 cup coconut sugar
1/3 cup brown rice syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
Instructions: Blend all ingredients with the exception of the pecans. Pour into crust and swirl in pecans. Bake at 375 for 30 min.
