You didn’t think we forgot about The Bachelor Premiere did you?! Of course not. A night to gather with your girlfriends, and watch 28 beautiful girls step out of the limo to meet our beloved Bachelor Ben. We wouldn’t miss it, especially since The Bachelor has been a big part of Tenley’s life, and Ben is a personal friend, this is extra exciting!

When you think “Cleanse” you probably don’t think of much celebrating, do you? Well, we’re here to show you our spin on celebrating, gathering, and cleansing as this coming Monday is the first day of our cleanse as we all cleanse together for the new year and the premier of The Bachelor. We will all be gathering around the TV with our girlfriends, but instead of Champagne we will be toasting green juice! But don’t you worry, we will still have pizza!! Are you scratching your head? “How is this possible?” while we cleanse? Just see below for what we have in store for you!

*All recipes will work for the first evening of your cleanse. Eat in moderation and enjoy yourself! Use these recipes for future gatherings with these tasty, but healthy options! (No one needs to know this is healthy stuff… besides the obvious green juice upgrade!)

Green Juice for a Toast!

As the evening of roses begins, instead of bubbly for the evening serve up some tasty green juice in champagne or wine glasses! Use one of your juice recipes from your DIY Cleanse Recipes!

Grain-Free Pizza

Bachelor Grain Free Pizza

(Recipe makes a full approx. 12 inch pizza. Enjoy a slice, or share with more people by slicing into small squares for a bite size option!)

Crust Ingredients:

-2 cups Almond Meal

-2 Eggs (we recommend pastured eggs)

-3 tbsp. Grapeseed Oil

-1 tbsp. Organic Italian Herbs

-a dash or 1/8 tsp of Himalayan Pink Salt

-¼ tsp. Baking Soda

-1 tsp. Garlic Powder

Topping Suggestions:

-Pizza Sauce (Look for a pizza sauce that is organic and that doesn’t contain sugar! This is important! We’ve found Cucina Antica brand at Whole Foods and love this option.)

-Garlic, minced or whole cloves

-Olives

-Onions

-Tomatoes

-Peppers

-Mushrooms

-Broccoli

-Organic Diced Chicken, Organic Ground Turkey, Or Organic Turkey Sausage (cook in grapeseed oil and add a dash of pink salt and pepper, maybe even some Italian Seasoning to add extra flavor)

-We love adding fresh Arugula to top it off!

-Remember, we’re skipping cheese while we’re following the cleanse, but on non-cleanse days try adding a little raw goat cheese!

Crust Directions:

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees

-Lightly grease a pizza pan or a cookie sheet with grapeseed oil, or use parchment paper

-Mix all crust ingredients together until dough begins to form and becomes thick

-Roll dough into a ball shape

-Place the dough in the center of lightly greased cookie sheet or pizza pan (or parchment paper)

-Using your hands shape your dough into a pizza shape, you will press and pat until it’s thin

-Bake your crust for 20 minutes, you will add your toppings later

-After the crust is finished, have fun topping your pizza! (We recommend you skip the cheese while on the cleanse!)

-Once sauce and toppings have been added, bake your pizza for 15-20 minutes. (Keep your eye on it. I always check around the 10 minute mark just to be safe and to see how it’s baking. Continue to bake if it doesn’t look done)

-If you’ve prepared your pizza crust ahead of time, just add toppings and bake!

-You can even skip making a crust and use Eggplant or Portobello Mushroom

-Enjoy!
